There has been lots of wonderful things going on for many of our teams this season and some cup finals coming up.  Here are a few of the highlights:- Hampshire County Cup Final   Our CPR U15 Trojans have made the final of the Hampshire County Cup. It takes place at 13.00 this Saturday at Baffins Milton Rovers FC in Portsmouth. Feel free to go along and give them a cheer!     U8 Lions Scoop the Champions Cup    Congratulations to the CPR U8 Lions who lifted the NEHYL Football Fit Champions Cup last weekend. They beat Churt Junior Panthers 1-0. Well done to all!     Forthcoming Finals     Good luck to the following team who have made it through to their finals in the forthcoming weeks:-< U10 Ospreys, U10 Eagles, U12 Eagles, U13 Jets, U14 Lions, U16 Lions (EBFA, 6th April)   Other Recent Finals   Congratulations to the U8 Panthers for coming runners up at the weekend in their Elite Cup Final, missing out to the Mytchett Athletic Kestrels. Well done!   U7/U8s trip to Reading FC    Many of our U7 and U8 players have recently enjoyed a day trip to Reading FC     U10 Ospreys visit the Soccer AM Studios    Our U10 Ospreys, coaches and parents made their TV debut when they got to be part of the audience at the Soccer AM Sky One studios.     U10 Ospreys cup final glory   Earlier in the season –  CPR U10 Osprey’s enjoyed a 5-1 win in their league cup final in December against Farnham Utd. CPR U11 Hawks win the NEHYL Div 5 Cup

            The CPR U11 Hawks, led by Mike Jeffreys and Russ Gill,  have lifted the NEHYL Division 5 cup this morning in Alton in a hard fought battle against Hook Utd Lions. With a goal coming from a corner just five minutes into the game the remaining 85 minutes was a nail biting time for the spectators. The teams were well matched and Curley had several chances on goal with one hitting the post.  Hook battled on and had a few chances but the Hawk’s goalkeeper demonstrated that he is safe pair of hands, coming out several times as a sweeper keeper to meet Hook one-on-one. In the final fifteen minutes, Hook threw everything they’d got at trying to get that equaliser but Hawks defended valiantly and secured their 1-0 victory. A wonderful team effort, well done...
